Despite having a cold this week, Aidan is his usually happy, busy self. He is throwing new words into his vocabulary everyday. He wowed us the other day asking for dad's "Keeys". Now he has his own lanyard with a key that he wears when he eats. (I have no idea why you need keys to eat.. but apparently you do.)
His repetor of animal sounds is growing as well. I can't wait for it to be warm enough to go to the zoo and look at all the animals he knows. He clicks like a dolphin, moos like a cow, and stomps like an elephant.
He also has discovered puppets. He says., "Boy," to get me to hand him his Pinocchio and Raggedy Andy puppet. "No" has also made an appearance- but he only says it in response to a question.
Ben asks "How did we get this kid"
His little nose is all sore and runny but he brings us a Kleenex and asks us "Nose?" so we will wipe it for him. (Yes, I am bragging)
reading is still a favorite activity. AND we have reading rules (all his)
1. I am not allowed to read "Hand Hand Fingers Thumb" (Only Dad can)
2. In order to read Dr. Seuss' ABC's Aidan must have:
a. His Alligator (Aunt Annie's Alligator A...a...A
b. His Rhinoceros (Rosy's riding on her red rhinoceros)
3. the cat must only sit on Mom's right leg. The left leg is Aidan's
4. the command, "Ree" must always be accommodated.
We have been taking lots of pictures lately. He likes to look at the lcd after we take them. He trys to look through the view finder too. Uncle Chris, there's a picture just for you, Can you find it??
