What a fun weekend. We went to Canton to see Donna and Bob. Aidan had his first boat ride. He loved it. He was so relaxed that Rich said he felt like a sack of potatoes. We also went to the Akron zoo. Aidan really liked the sheep and goats. ( I think it's genetic.)

A visit from Uncle Ben

Yea!!! Uncle Ben came up to visit. He played with Aidan and did my dishes. We went to the zoo and the beach. Aidan had a blast with his uncle. He is perfecting his raspberry blowing and has discovered a new appreciation for watches with buttons.

Of course he loved the beach. He is obsessed with rocks, sticks, and birds. Plenty of all three at the beach.

Tuesday we went to Clay's Park for Uncle Chris' company picnic. We had so much fun! Aidan loved the sand, the water, and the slide. Marissa loved the Uncles who entertained Aidan.

A new toy

Yesterday was a great day. The G's came up with Uncle Ben in tow. And... a sandbox. Aidan was thrilled. Not only did he have his G's to play with all day but Uncle Ben had a mouse for him to drive, and the beach came to stay at his house.
Aidan loves his new turtle sandbox. He climbs in and out and hits the eyes. (of the turtle.) He wouldn't let us put the cover on the entire time he was on the deck.
This morning when he woke up he looked for the G's, and tried to blow on the lights. (Grammie knows what I mean) He was sad that it was just me and Dad this morning. He did however make do.
I think Aidan's best friend is Mao. They are a pair. Today Aidan wanted in his crib so he could play with Mao. I just had to get the camera. Mao purrrs and purrs. And only squawks a little when Aidan sits on him.

Life with a 14 monther

Aidan is so much fun these days. ( I say that alot) He says Dada, Cat, and Dog. He tries to say light, and this. And he points- alot. He brings me things; books, toys, rocks. Rides in his wagon are a favorite. We have been to the zoo and hiking in these last few weeks. The zoo was fun cause he could see some of the animals.
July 4th was a blast. He loved playing with the bean bags and ultimate golf balls. Madeline was pretty cool too. Aidan is a climber- the gate, the crib, the cats.
His new thing is snuggling. He loves to curl up next to us on the floor.
