Happy nine months Mr. Bug. Saddly I'm sick so check back for updates when I feel better.

What fun we had in Canton over the weekend. Ben and I had a "Date night" --those don't happen often. Mostly because when we do get to see the G's we all do stuff together. Ben and I went to a great Restaurant with Mara and Jake...then to Bob's for coffee. We played cards and had a great time. Aidan go to play with the G's and Rich and Georgia. I don't think he even knew we were gone.

Uncle Ben came home on Sunday and go to play with the Bug. Aidan also got to see Great Uncle Jeff, and Uncle Chris. He certainly has a village. It is cold and snowy here. We want to go out and play in the snow--but today it was too cold and too windy. We are hoping for a sunny day tomorrow.

Aidan learns new things everyday. It is so fun watching him grow. He is such a even tempered little guy. And so 'helpful'. He unloads dishes, "folds" laundry, and picks out items at the grocery store.

He loves his 'pounder' and shape sorter. He has been carrying his hammer around with him to test different pounding surfaces. Daddy says is sounds like, "Dent...Dent..DENT, dent". We can't wait to see Uncle Ben this weekend.

Aidan has been practicing his "b" sound all week. He still has a ways to go. And he now uses any two syllables to talk to the cats. Sometimes they're "BE-be," today Mao was 'ee-eh'. He'll get there.

January thaw = happy tired Baby

Happy day today. It was warm and sunny. We played outside and took a long walk in the stroller. Aidan took two good naps after his outings. It was so nice to get outside and smell the fresh air. Stroller time is fun time so we are happy to be out in January. I continue to love my new camera. Of course it is hard to take a bad picture of Aidan.

Zoo trip

We went to the Zoo yesterday and had a blast. It was warm. (53 degrees) Aidan had so much fun looking at all the other kids. There were babies his age and toddlers everywhere. We learned that all grownup legs look the same from the knee down. I had more little ones grab me and say "Mommy".... Maybe I now have that "Mom" look. Can your knees exude "momminess"?? Aidan also noticed the monkeys, big fish, Elephants, and Lemurs. Grammie and Grandpa Clutter came with us and Aidan played peek-a-boo.

He is doing so many new things. Cheerios are a hit. We are going to try more finger foods as he seems to really want to feed himself. More updates on that.

This month he has also started clapping his hands when he's happy, and splashing in the tub. He has found the cat's water dish and will splash that if I let him. Ben has also given Aidan his own remote --out of self defence. (How do they know the difference?)

Happy New Year!

What a fun week we have had. Ben is home until the 7th. We love having him around to play with. For New Year's eve we went to Andy and T-T's. Aidan slept most of the time--But woke up to watch the Ball drop. Then we got up early on New Years day to watch football. We drove to Maximo to see the Schneiders. What fun. Kylie and Andie had fun looking at and playing with Aidan. THEN we stopped by Bob Even's to surprise Uncle Chris.

Aidan is growing so fast. He is collecting bumps right now because he keeps letting go of stuff trying to walk. I have no idea if he'll figure out how not to fall before he walks.
